️For Debs. For St Christopher’s. For One Last Sprint.

Saturday 25th October

Help us raise £10,000 for the hospice that gave us peace when we needed it most.

Three years ago, my wife Debs died of pancreatic cancer.
She left behind me, three amazing kids, and an overflowing dishwasher I still haven’t quite figured out.

She also left behind a heartbreak so deep, I can barely put it into words. But if you’ve ever lost someone you love, you’ll know, life never really goes back to normal. You just try your best to build a new one.

In our darkest days, we had one constant: St Christopher’s Hospice.

They gave Debs comfort, dignity, and peace. They gave us strength, space, and support. They cared for her like she was family, and they helped us say goodbye with love, not fear.

This September, I want to give something back.

“This one’s for Debs.”

At half-time during a Dulwich Hamlet home game, I’ll be sprinting 100 metres across the pitch… against my mate (and football rival) Elis James. comedian, broadcaster, Swansea City fan, and winner of a recent Parents’ Day race, which he won’t shut up about.

I support Cardiff City, so this is also a friendly (ahem) war, Bluebirds vs Jacks , toe-to-toe in South London. Pride is on the line. He’s fast. So am I.

“I’m honoured to support this amazing cause and I will not, under any circumstances, let a Cardiff fan beat me.”

– Elis James

We’re aiming to raise £10k for St Christopher’s Hospice, so they can continue caring for families like mine when the worst happens. They rely on donations and trust me, the work they do is beyond priceless.

About the race:
• ‍♂️ 100metres. One shot. One pulled muscle (probably mine).
• ️ Half-time at Dulwich Hamlet FC
• ⚽ Cardiff vs Swansea, but with Lycra
• Goal: 10k for St Christopher’s

“Debs meant the world to me. This run is for her and for the hospice that held us up when we were falling apart.”

– Geraint John

If you can spare anything — £5, £50, or more you’ll be helping a place that makes the worst moments in life a little more bearable.
Let’s honour Debs. Let’s back St Christopher’s. Let’s make this silly little race mean something massive.

And if you’re in the stands that day… bring the noise.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
