St Barts runs the Loughborough Half Marathon!
A combined team of parents, teachers and Loughborough University staff and students will be taking part in the Loughborough Half Marathon on 7th April 2019 in a bid to raise funds for the Friends of St Barts (FOSBA).
The School has been working with staff and students from Loughborough University on an exciting new project to create a new learning space for the children that will help connect them to their environment and the seasonal changes which surround them. The design has been inspired by ideas developed by the children themselves. Further details of the project will be released over the coming weeks and months, although the fundraising is well underway for this and other projects help the School. Parents, teachers, and even students and University staff are busily fund-raising in the hope we turn our inspirational design into a reality!
We are in training to compete in the Loughborough Half marathon (either in relay teams or as individual runners) hoping to smash our personal bests for this good cause. Please dig deep and help us reach our fundraising target - and let’s see how many teachers we can get to join in the race!
