St Anne's Hospice Little Hulton
Donation protected
On the 20th October 2017 my dad sadly passed away after his short battle with terminal cancer. he was taken care of by the amazing people at St Anne's Hospice in Little Hulton, Manchester. The staff treated my dad with so much respect and we just couldnt thank them enough. Towards the end of my dad's life my mum wanted to take him home so she could cuddle him in bed and hold hid hand, the staff advides against this and then brought a spare bed in to my dads room so my mum could lay with him. What an amazing gift to give both my parents. In the room my family stayed in was a sofa bed. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was old, worn and very uncomfortable and let me tell you at times like that somewhere comfortable to sleep is really important. My family and I not only want to raise money for the staff but to provide some comfort for other families who will be spending time in that room. The hospice was wonderful. All the staff welcomed my dad and family with open arms. They truly are wonderful people. My dads last few days were made a lot easier because of the people who were there to support us all.
