Hi, my name is Samara Ward, and I know what it’s like to feel stuck, to have potential, ideas, and drive, but no resources. That’s why I created Zwapie; a platform designed to give people the opportunity to move forward in life, even when money is tight or non-existent.

What is Zwapie?:

Zwapie is a time-credit platform that allows people to trade skills, services, and knowledge without using money. It creates a self-sustaining economy built on human connection, where your time and talents become your currency.

If someone needs help writing a resume, they can offer cooking lessons in return.

If someone wants to learn photography, they can offer to help someone move house.

If a small business can’t afford a marketer, they can pay in time credits by helping another user in return.

Zwapie empowers individuals and businesses to get the support they need, without relying on traditional cash-based systems.

Zwapie is designed for people who are often left out of the system:

Single parents who want to study or work but can't afford childcare

Teens and young adults with no experience who want to learn and contribute

Victims of trauma, domestic violence, or homelessness who are trying to rebuild

Migrants and refugees looking to integrate and contribute meaningfully

Anyone trying to start something but blocked by financial limitations

It’s not just an app. It’s a movement for those who have been told they have to wait until they can afford help.

Why We Need $25,000 - $50,000 AUD

We’re seeking funding to take Zwapie from a working concept to a scalable platform that can truly make an impact.

App development and maintenance: $25,000

Security and privacy upgrades: $10,000

Marketing and outreach to build our user base: $10,000

Support team and moderation: $5,000

Community events, education, and onboarding: $5,000–$50,000 (depending on final amount raised)

What We've Already Done:

We’ve built a working prototype, designed reels, created a blog called “Nothing to Something,” and started building a community that believes in helping others without needing money. We've been using storytelling to explain the vision and connect with potential users.
