On April 12th, my son Jason Moon fell down a steep flight of concrete steps, fracturing his jaw and knocking out all of the teeth on the right side of his face. He needs bone grafting to repair his jaw. He also sprained his wrist and suffered other injuries.

 

Jason is currently in an internship/certification program teaching reading to challenged elementary school children and works other jobs to make ends meet. He needs at least a 12,000 down payment to get a loan for costly reconstructive surgery. He cannot get financing on the loan without this down payment. 

 

For Jason, teaching his students literacy skills is his primary motivation for repairing his jaw and mouth.
