Support Raina: A Helping Hand Through a Tough Time

My name is Luca, and I’m reaching out to share the story of my incredible mother, Raina Loiselle. She is a mother of two and grandmother of one, a loving woman who has always put others first. Unfortunately, she is currently battling terminal cancer, a fight that she has faced with unimaginable strength and resilience. I know that asking for help in this way isn’t easy for my mother, as she has always been a very proud and independent woman, but the reality of her situation has made it necessary, and I, with your help, want to make sure she has the support she needs during this difficult time

In the last 6 years, my mother has outlived the original prognosis that doctors gave her, but her journey has come with both physical, emotional and financial challenges. Despite undergoing multiple surgeries, battling infections, and even suffering a heart attack, she has never lost her positive spirit. Her strength is truly remarkable.

Throughout her life, she has worked tirelessly, even as a single mother, to provide for my sister and me. She worked hard every day. She has only one pension to rely on. Sadly, the government provides no added help for terminal patients. She had to stop working due to her illness. With her ongoing health struggles, her financial situation has become increasingly difficult. The expenses associated with her medical care, treatments, and daily living have become overwhelming.

As her daughters, we try our best to support her, but like many families, we also have our own responsibilities to manage. My mother’s health requires ongoing care and attention, and the financial burden is something we cannot bear alone. That’s why we’re turning to this GoFundMe page to ask for your help.

The funds raised will provide my mother with the financial freedom she desperately needs—so she can focus on her health, spend more quality time with her family, and not have to worry about the day-to-day bills that are piling up. No one should spend these last precious moments worried about finances. Additionally, the donations will help with potential hospice care, should the time come when she needs that additional support.
