On Feb 3, 2021, I lost my beautiful mom Delminia to an aggressive form of Uterine Carcinosarcoma, she was only 66. Her battle was brief, but she fought hard. My mom was born and raised in the Philippines, immigrated to Hawaii in the mid-70s, then had me (and only me) shortly thereafter.
My mom was my everything. Growing up she always had food ready (which we all know is the way to my heart). She worked several jobs, but always had time to make sure I was cared for. People loved her kind and gentle soul. Even though we didn't have much, she was extremely generous, constantly making sure that her family and friends were okay.
I am humbly asking for donations that will allow me to send my mom back to her homeland where she will finally be laid to rest and to cover other funeral related expenses. She made me promise that I wouldn't cremate her, that I would make sure she had hair, and to do everything I could to get her back to the Philippines. I am certain I will fulfill all her wishes.
Mom, I miss you so much. It was honor being your son. I will miss our daily FaceTime conversations, I will miss your delicious cooking, I will miss your stories about Benji (her favorite furbaby who she loved more than me I think), I will miss your beautiful smile, but I know you are finally resting peacefully in heaven. Until we see each other again, I love you with all of my heart! Love, Jaymel
