Simba's Road to Recovery!!
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your help in supporting our sweet golden retriever, Simba. On Saturday, May 17th around 8:30 PM, Simba was hit by a car going over 60 mph, a moment that has turned our world upside down.
That evening, Simba followed my mom outside as she went to take out the trash. Like always, he just wanted to be close; he’s never one to stray far from our side. In just a split second, he darted into the street and was struck by a speeding car. It was a terrifying moment we’ll never forget.
Simba is only 13 months old, still just a puppy at heart. He’s the most loyal, loving dog we’ve ever known. He’s goofy, gentle, and always there when we need comfort, a true member of our family and our baby. The house feels empty without the sound of his paws clacking against the floor as he runs or his warm presence curled up next to us watching his favorite show, Bluey.
We’re doing everything we can to take care of him, but the costs of his medical care are more than we can handle alone. The bills include emergency vet visits, x-rays, checkups, medications, and potentially more procedures as his recovery progresses. As much as we wish we could take on all of it ourselves, we need help.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward Simba’s care and recovery. And if you’re unable to give, sharing this page would mean just as much to us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, your kindness, and for keeping Simba in your thoughts.
With gratitude,
the Enriquez Family
