‍♂️ I’m Doing the Coast to Coast Walk for Charity ❤️

Almost 12 months ago, I had a heart attack, something I never thought I’d have, especially as someone who has a clean lifestyle, and does regular exercise.getting out on walks every week

I was admitted to LHCH and the care I received at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital was 1st class. From the surgeons to the nurses, to the porters who chatted to me before surgery, they made me feel like I was in the best hands. They went above and beyond and I can’t thank them enough for what they did for me and many others,

This charity is very close to my heart (no pun intended), and I want to give back. So I’ve decided to take on the Coast to Coast Walk in their honour. It’s something I’ve been unsure about doing with my condition, but I’ve realised I can’t let it dictate my life. If I start each day believing I can’t do it, then I won’t.

But I can.

And I will.

I’ll be doing the walk in stages to avoid putting too much pressure on myself. I’ll take on the Lake District bit-by-bit as a precaution, and once I reach Kirkby Stephen, My aim is to continue the rest in one hit,

I’ll be keeping everyone updated throughout the journey as we go along, due to work commitments my aim is to finish this journey by September/October this year
