Help Luna Get Back On Her Paws

Hi, my name is Bianca and I'm fundraising for our friend/trainer Akeem's fur baby, Luna (the one on the right)

She's only 3 years old and suffering from two ACL tears in her hind legs.

Luna was on a regular hike when Akeem noticed a limp in her left hind knee. He didn’t think much of it so he rested her for a few days and realized she was still favouring the leg. He proceeded to take her to the vet where she was diagnosed with a slight tear in her ACL. At that point, they didn't suggested surgery but she was given medication for the swelling to decrease. A few weeks after that, Luna was on another regular walk where at some point she completely stopped walking and was struggling to move. Akeem assumed it was the same leg left hind leg but this time her reaction was totally different. He booked the vet appointment the following morning where she was now diagnosed with two torn ACLs and will now require surgery on both legs so that she can walk again.

Her surgery is scheduled for July 28th, 2021.

Akeem has been an incredible, life-changing guide and trainer for us and our own dog Thor, and has helped so many dogs and dog owners. He always goes above and beyond and we wanted to extend this gesture for him. The surgery will cost between $5000-$6000 so any donation will be super helpful!
