Good Morning/Evening Everyone!
Recently, one of our own, Rodney Pedro was notified by Red Cross that his sister was hospitalized. While he was deployed in the East Coast, he was suddenly rushed back home to Hawaii to take care of this tragedy.
Rodney Pedro’s sister, Joanne Lokelani Pedro, was diagnosed with a severe form of Crohn’s Disease. Crohn's disease is a chronic condition that causes inflammation of the digestive tract. Crohn's disease can be painful, debilitating, and life-threatening. Medical costs with insurance average $1,000 per month. Out of pocket costs typically exceed $5,000 for families.
There is no cure and things have turned to the worst. We are asking for donations to help to recover surgery costs, hospital stays, medicine, and tests. Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Mahalo nui loa!
