Hi, my name is Raisin, and some of you might have seen me on TikTok doing cooking lives.

A little background on me: I suffer from a skin condition called Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS). It’s a challenging disease with no cure; you can only learn to manage it over time. I've had several surgeries to remove HS, including skin grafts on both armpits. In 2020, I discovered flare-ups on a new site on my body—my breasts. The HS on my right breast was removed successfully, but while recovering from that surgery, the HS on my left breast was also removed. Unfortunately, I developed an infection from the staples used to stitch me up, leading to fluid buildup. I had to undergo another surgery to remove the HS on my left breast, which resulted in a small portion being removed. I was assured that it wouldn’t be noticeable, but that wasn’t the case. In 2021, I had two additional surgeries on my left breast to remove more tissue.

I was told by the NHS that if I needed surgery to reconstruct my breast, they would be happy to help. However, now I've been informed that I don't meet the criteria, even though this situation is affecting me mentally. I feel deformed and uncomfortable with my body; one breast is significantly larger than the other, making it visibly noticeable. I'm hoping my supporters on TikTok, who love watching me, can help me raise money for breast surgery to correct this issue. Thank you all for reading and for your support.
