Maxwell was born 6/6/2025 and has had many complications from the start. He was transferred to IU Ball where he spent the first two weeks of his life. Upon discharge he has required oxygen around the clock and further testing. Now, with some answers from Peyton Manning team of doctors, he will be undergoing a surgery to open his skull, as his bones are fused together due to a genetic condition called sagittal craniosyntosis. This hasn’t allowed his head to grow properly and the only treatment is surgery. This will requires several days in the hospital and following up appointments. It was also discovered that he is aspirating his feedings, so a tube was put down his nose to his stomach to feed him to allow his lungs to heal and get stronger to get him though his surgery that is scheduled August 21, 2025 at Peyton Manning in Indianapolis. He will require numerous trips to Indy for appointments and speech therapy after surgery. We want to help offset costs for gas and food while the family undergoes this difficult time and only has one income currently. The money donated will be maintained by his “Grammy” Cheryl Mckissick and “Mimi” Tina Bailey and we will disperse to mom and dad at different intervals when needed for gas and food.
