Joshua's Fund

My name is Janice Lubbehusen and I have started this page for my best friend for over 30 years. Here is her story:

October 3, around 4 p.m., my son went to meet with some friends. When he had not returned home by 9:00, we tried reaching him by phone and he was not answering the calls. We called the police to file a missing persons report. The police had searched all night. His dad and I search as well until we were told to return home. Around 7 a.m. the next morning, I received the telephone call that he was found lying in a ditch. He had been hit by a car and thrown a few feet and left in the cold and wet ditch, the driver leaving the scene.

He has suffered extensive injuries to his brain and body. He is currently in a trauma hospital and we would appreciate any help you could give to help us with the grown medical bills.
