Hi everyone,

I have just completed my second year studying Law at Lancaster University and have been given the incredible opportunity of studying abroad next year, at the Australian National University, in Canberra. I have always wanted to experience Australia; the prospect of spending a year abroad would not simply be a holiday or a break from the UK - it is a central part of my degree and an important stepping stone for me, both in terms of my career - through the creation of international connections - as well as my development, both academically and personally.

I know this is an amazing opportunity and I feel very fortunate to have been granted it, but the costs of flights, visas, accommodation, essentials and living costs that come with it are something with which I would really appreciate your help and support to make it possible.

Therefore, I have decided to run a marathon on 7th July to raise money to cover at least some of these costs. Any donations would be massively appreciated, however small. Equally, simply sharing this page would be a huge help, too.
