On 17th December, small Ssentumbwe Ilse tragically passed away after an acute medical situation. Her sudden illness took everyone by surprise, and despite the best efforts of medical professionals, she left us far too soon. Her parents are now faced with the worst loss, and additionally overwhelmed by medical bills and funeral costs.
We believe that Ilse’s parents should be allowed the space and time to mourn their beloved child without the additional stress of financial burdens. These costs, especially in the context of Uganda’s healthcare system, can be devastating. Together, we can help ease their burden by raising €5,000 to cover the most immediate expenses.
This campaign is organised by close friends of the family, together with the family directly. Our only goal is to support them during this unimaginably difficult time.
