My name is Lauren Bartram, I am a tattooer here in Asheville at Empire Tattoo hoping to lend financial support to those in the community who lost so much as a result of Hurricane Helene. Almost every shop in the River Arts District was absolutely destroyed. So much of Asheville’s culture is centered around the arts community, tattooing is an integral part of this. However because we are not an essential part of day to day life, not only have some lost their physical place of work, equipment, books, etc, but are also simply unable to work as a result of lack of power and water. Let’s help out this wonderful community and get everyone back on their feet ❤️
