My sister Sarahann is one of the best people that I know. She is a wonderful person working for a company that takes care of teen boys. She always puts her family first. When either my sister and I need her, she's always there. She has never missed on of her nephew or nieces performances.

From a very young age, she has suffered from migraine headaches so bad she couldn't see. She would have to take a pain pill and sleep until it got better.

Early this month, she woke up and told us that her eyes felt funny. We kinda laughed it off and told her to go see a doctor. Then her vision started to go.... Then when she was finally able to see an eye doctor, he told her that her perscription was correct. He referred her to see an opthalamologist, who then referred her to a neurosurgeon.

Early last week, she had an MRI done. Turns out she has a brain tumor the size of a large gum ball. And on top of the tumor, she has a cyst. This is located in the area above her pituitary gland. It is called a Crainopharyngioma. This type of tumor is normally found in adolescent boys or very elderly people, not young females.

We found out on Monday that they are going to have to do surgery. They are going to go in through the side of her head, drain the cyst, and remove 90% of the tumor. They have informed us that because of where this is located, they cannot remove it 100% without the risk of causing more damage.

She is a single adult making very little. She hates asking for help, so we are! She has had to give up her drivers license and her apartment. She has had to move in with my family and I. This is killing her emotionally because she's a very independant person. 

Her medical bills are going to be outrageous. So we are trying to help her cover most of those as well as cover her bills while she is recuperating.  She will have her medical expenses, insurance premium, phone bill, car payment, and car insurance.  Not sure what else she is going to have to keep up with.
