My name is Brittany. I have been on my own since I was a teenager. I have always taken care of myself & my Mom who passed away from cancer. I never had any expectations that life owed me anything. I work and pay my own way. When I have more, I share. When my have less, I save. After my Mom died, I was on my own again. I started a landscaping business over twenty four years ago, and have been doing pretty well. But this last year has been the hardest time of my life. Financially, physically, and spiritually I have been struggling. People are strapped financially and my business has suffered. I can’t pay my mortgage, I’m behind on my bills and sometimes I can’t afford groceries. I have never asked for anything in my life, but I need to ask for your help. I’m going to lose my home. The mortgage company doesn’t care that I’m a hard worker. If I can’t pay them, they are going to take my home. I have no place to go and am out of options.
