Dear friends,

We are reaching out on behalf of our beloved, Keana Vieira, a 28-year-old woman whose strength continues to inspire us every single day. She is the devoted mother of a joyful 2-year-old little boy who lights up her world and gives her every reason to keep fighting.

Keana was first diagnosed with Mesothelioma in 2016, which is a rare and aggressive cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. Mesothelioma affects the protective lining of the lungs, abdomen, or heart, making simple daily tasks incredibly difficult and bringing long-term health challenges. For over a decade, she’s had many surgeries, countless chemo therapies/immunotherapies, radiation and has been a part of multiple clinical trials and research studies. She has faced this illness with remarkable courage, faith and determination. Unfortunately, all traditional treatment options have been exhausted, leaving us to explore holistic and alternative healing methods.

This journey has been long, exhausting, and at times overwhelming. But through it all, she has held tightly to her faith in God and the power of prayer. We are blessed with a loving community that has surrounded her with support, encouragement, and unwavering love. Even so, the financial strain has grown beyond what our family can shoulder alone.

Funds raised will go directly toward:

— Medical bills that have not been covered by insurance that have led to immense debt

— Holistic and supportive therapies that help manage current symptoms and strengthen her body

— Exploring alternative medicine options out of state/country (treatment, travel, lodge)

— Life expenses and bills impacted by her inability to work
