Support for the Andrews family

On March 2nd Megan Andrews found out that she had Leptomeningeal Metastases, a form of terminal brain cancer and would only have a life expectancy of 2-12 months .

This type of cancer is 100% fatal and the treatment options Megan will go through in the coming months will only give her a better quality of live and possibly months to live.

I cannot begin to imagine what Joe, her husband, and their two children, Jude (11) and Josiah (10) are going through, and will have to go through in the next year. They are such an amazing family and over the past 4 years have opened their home to many exchange students without asking for anything in return.

Many of you may already know, but Megan was already diagnosed in February of 2019 with breast cancer and in March 2019 underwent a double mastectomy. That was followed up with chemo and radiation treatments of the next 7 months.

When they thought all was clear and Megan had beat cancer, she began experiencing some slight dizziness, spells of confusion and chronic fatigue. After visiting the doctor, having a spinal tap and undergoing an emergency surgery to remove her spacers, she was able to have an MRI and the doctor confirmed their suspicions that the breast cancer had moved up into her cerebrospinal fluid that goes around the brain and through the spine.

Please consider supporting the Andrews family as they begin to live with their new reality and the knowledge that their wife and mother only has a short time to live.

In addition to the mountains of medical expenses that the family is facing from cancer over the last year, and the cost of everything Megan will need to go through this year, Joe is now faced with the challenge of parenting alone, being with Megan every moment as she cannot be left alone, as well as figuring out how to still earn an income to pay for small things like groceries and the house payment .

Joe is the sole provider of the family and works full-time in a commission-only position for ADT business alarms. With the time off Joe will need to take over the next year, the family will essentially lose all of their income.

Your funds will allow Joe the chance to give Megan the care she needs, while figuring out his new path forward.

While for a moment there is grief, Joe and the boys are choosing to spend each and every moment God chooses to grant them with their wife and mother in happiness and joy. There may be a time for grieving, but that time is not now.

Help me give them the last moments with with their wife and mother that they deserve and the freedom to not have to worry about how they will pay their bills over the next year.

"Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope." 1 Thessalonians 4:13
