SRWC New Location
Saco River Wildlife Center is a wildlife rehabilitation center located in Limington, Maine. Our mission is to provide rehabilitative care and shelter to orphaned, ill,
and injured wildlife. We do this in a reasonably natural environment in order to
keep our patients wild. This allows them time to recover, become healthy, and
develop the skills needed to survive before we ultimately return them to their
natural habitat. We also strive to teach Maine communities about native wildlife by promoting awareness and education. The ability to identify species and their
habits will help you know when, and when not, to intervene.
We are currently operating out of the basement of founder Bethany Brown's home. While it works for the time being, we are continuing to grow and become well known as a resource to our communities, therefore, our number of intakes is skyrocketing. We are launching this campaign to raise money for a new space/land.
During our search for this new space, we will find a piece of land to build on or land with a preexisting building to renovate. This new location would allow us to have a dedicated space to continue to provide high-quality care to Maine Wildlife.
Thank you so much for your time and donation.
