Hi friends, my name is Adriana and I am fundraising for my sister Jessica. Jessica is 43 years old and resides in Meriden Connecticut. On June 27 she received the devastating news that she has been diagnosed with stage three, triple negative breast cancer.

Stage three, triple negative breast cancer is rare, very aggressive, fast growing and extremely hard to treat. Jessica underwent three MRIs, two CAT scans, three mammograms, three painful biopsies and the port placement was installed today 7/20/2022. The mental stress of the diagnosis, all the tests, medical bills and just basic living expenses are adding up. Jessica can no longer work due to the cancer. The doctors are moving very quickly, as the tumor has doubled in size in one week. The chemotherapy will start to take toll on her body tomorrow 7/22/2022. Jessica will undergo 26 weeks of chemo, going every week, six hours at a time.

Jessica has always been self-sufficient and a sole provider for her beautiful 11 year old daughter Ameera. I’d even call her a workaholic, but she always puts Ameera first and still finds the time to volunteer helping the homeless in need and children charities in her community. Jessica is a truly amazing women and mom. She spends every free moment with Ameera, shopping, watching movies, going on adventures, creating sculptures out of Legos. They are truly two peas in a pod, Ameera is a mini Jessica!! Their world revolves around each other. My precious niece, is scared and worried that she won’t be able to do enough to help her mommy.

Jessica has always been there for others, gives back to her community, and has the heart of gold. She won’t ask for help, so I will be her advocate.

I would like to ask you humbly from my family to yours, if you can please donate, any amount will be greatly appreciated. Jessica needs to rest and concentrate on battling this horrendous disease, and not worry that she will not be able to care for her daughter properly. The donations will go to primarily medical bills and deductions associated with that, Basic living expenses, putting food on the table, care of Ameera and transportation as Jessica won’t be able to drive, following her chemo treatments.
