Rad Dad Recovery Fund

Donation protected
As some of you may know, my Dad suffered a severe stroke when we were having dinner at our house on Sunday the 19th. He was transported via ambulance to the ICU at Good Samaritan hospital in Puyallup as it's the nearest certified stroke center. The stroke left him paralyzed on his left side and cognitively a little fuzzy. Due to the fast response time from onset to the ER, he was able to receive a medication called a tPA that helps dissolve the clot giving the hope of eventually regaining mobility and preventing further progression of the stroke. Due to the location of his stroke in his Cerebellum, it is likely he will have a longer road to recovery regaining motor function. Though the Doctors have been impressed with his fight to try to move and with the progress he's made they feel in 6 months he will potentially make a full recovery. He is now in Intensive Physical Therapy learning how to regain strength and walk and perform daily activities. After he graduates inpatient PT he will return home with my family and I where we will care for him in the coming months until he is fully capable of living independently. The money we are hoping to raise is to help pay his rent, minthly bills and medical bills while he is unable to work the next 6 months. We appreciate everyone's support in this difficult time and I will personally be updating as things continue to improve. ❤ Aliesha
