My close friend, Krystal, has been diagnosed with Stage 3 cervical cancer. It has spread to her cervix, uterus, and lymphatic system. Her treatment plan is intense and long. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, followed by two full years of immunotherapy. The side effects are severe and constant, leaving her unable to work while her body fights to survive.

She is also a single mother.
