Thrombosis Relief Fund - Srikanth S. Boddupally

This is a 35-year-old purohit (family priest), Srikanth Sharma Boddupally, from Kandukur, Gundlapally (Dindi) Mandal, Nalgonda District, Telangana, India. He is a wonderful father of two elementary school children and the husband of a loving wife.

Unfortunately, Srikanth was diagnosed with thrombosis in February 2017 and has been bedridden since. In simple terms, thrombosis is the formation of a blood clot within a blood vessel. It prevents necessary blood flow in the circulatory system, which can lead to swelling and pain in the areas that are affected; this disease attacked his lower spine and legs. In 2018, he was in a coma for 1 month and sold all of his assets in order to pay the 4 million INR (approximately $55 thousand USD) bill for the initial stages of his treatment. Due to COVID-19, he is unable to make a living and has no income at all, leaving him and his family to survive on donors for the past few months. Due to him being immobile, his wife bears the burdens of household work and taking care of their children, which restricts her from working a job.

Furthermore, he is unable to pay for the continuation of his treatment and is in dire need of your help during his long and arduous journey to recovery. Please assist us in fundraising for his medical expenses (future surgeries and physical therapy), children's education, and daily expenses to help alleviate the financial stress on his family.
