Limb Kind Foundation - Sri Lanka

I joined Limb Kind this past October on a trip to Ethiopia. It touched my heart to finally feel connected to kids in another country again, let alone kids who I can relate to physically and emotionally. It was life-changing to be an Amputee mentor and assist with providing prostheses to kids in order for them to be able to walk and attend school.

In July, I have the opportunity to travel with this amazing organization to Sri Lanka to help mentor and provide prostheses for more kiddos in need at Centre for Handicapped. I am beyond blessed to be part of another team consisting of prosthetists, physical therapists, amputee mentors, and a very talented photographer. I cannot wait to see what we will all experience as this will be Limb Kind's first trip to the country of Sri Lanka.
