My name is Mohamed Segismail. I am currently living in Ontario, Canada. Some of my family members are living in Sri Lanka. I am just an average Joe, that is inspired to help those struggling due to an economic melt down. You may have noticed all over social media the struggle people of Sri Lanka are going through which i have witnessed. Shortage of basic neccessities including medicine, fuel and food. Inflation has risen by 50%, fuel prices by 62%, and food prices by 80%. Families in Sri lanka are living in a time of uncertainty. Pre mature births are taking place due to lack of medication and pregnant woman cannot meet nutritional guidelines. Hospitals are also running out of medical equipments. Not only medication but also food. Basic fruits and vegetables have become a luxury. We need donations and are completely dependant on it. The chaos of an economic collapse in Sri Lanka has now become a humanitarian crisis. Please help as much as you can.
