(EN) Help families in Sri Lanka who have lost everything in the severe flooding. Your support provides food, clean water, baby essentials (baby formula milk), and basic medical care to the most affected communities.

Our team is helping to buy and distribute the supplies to the lorries and pickup points that go to the people who are affected.

WHO WE ARE

Our names are Lahiru (Sri Lankan) and Noah (Dutch) from Holiday Driver Sri Lanka . We work closely with tourism families, drivers and community leaders across Sri Lanka. Over the past days we have provided urgent aid such as rice, lentils and baby products to families who have been hit hardest by the flooding.

THE SITUATION

Heavy flooding has destroyed homes, blocked roads and damaged local shops. Thousands of families are stranded without food, clean water or medicine. Prices have increased due to shortages, making it even harder for parents to feed their children. Shelters are overcrowded and basic hygiene items are missing.

WHAT YOUR DONATION PROVIDES

Your contribution goes directly to emergency items such as:

• Rice and lentils

• Fresh drinking water

• Milk powder for children

• Baby pampers and wet wipes

• Hygiene packs including toothbrush and soap

• Paracetamol and basic first aid

• Transport and delivery of goods to affected villages

All items are purchased locally to support small shops and we ensure fast delivery due we use party our own travel company vehicles and partly the goverment/army transportations.

OUR FIRST GOAL

We want to support at least 150 families.

The estimated cost per family is 18 to 22 euro for a basic relief pack.

Target: 3.000 euro.

Any amount helps. Even 5 euro can provide rice, lentils and clean water for a family.
