Over the past few days, Sri Lanka has been devastated by the severe flooding caused by Cyclone Ditwah. More than 218,000 people have been displaced, and authorities are still searching for 367 missing individuals. Entire neighbourhoods are underwater or mud from landslides, families have lost their homes, and many communities remain cut off with little access to basic necessities.

The immediate needs are overwhelming: shelter, clean water, dry clothing, medical care, and food. Many families had to flee with only what they could carry. For those who have lost everything, even small acts of support can mean safety and dignity during an unimaginable time.

This fundraiser will support on-the-ground relief efforts, helping to provide emergency supplies and direct assistance to the hardest-hit communities. Sri Lanka has always been a resilient nation, but no community can recover from a disaster of this scale without help.
