My name is Ramesh Tippabhatla. I am an avid outdoor enthusiast, along with being a follower and a firm believer in our Sanatana Dharma. This year, I have decided to challenge myself again. I, along with my kids and my friend Subodh Reddy, have signed up to do RAGBRAI, a 500-mile bike ride across Iowa over seven days.

I am taking this opportunity to introduce an exciting and purposeful initiative that combines the joy of cycling, the beauty of culture, and the power of community. We have started the journey to build a one-of-a-kind Hindu temple in Columbia, SC, and we need your generous support to make it a reality. Let's pedal together toward a divine destination!

The Purpose:

Imagine a magnificent temple blessed by Parama Pujya Sri Sri Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji nestled amidst the vibrant community of Columbia, SC—a spiritual sanctuary that will inspire devotion, foster cultural understanding, and serve as a center for community enrichment. This will be the second temple in the world with Dasavathara Venkateswara Swamy idol, the other one is in Andhra Pradesh near Vijayawada.

‍The Challenge:

RAGBRAI, the Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, is an epic cycling event that spans approximately 500 miles of stunning landscapes and captivating towns. This year, we want to rise to the challenge of RAGBRAI to raise funds for our temple. Together, we can pedal towards a shared vision and create something truly extraordinary.

The Temple:

Our envisioned temple will be an architectural marvel based on Agama Shastra and Vastu and will be built in the heart of Columbia, SC. It will feature serene meditation halls, educational spaces, and community gathering areas. This temple will serve as a sacred space for worship, a hub for cultural activities, and a platform for promoting interfaith harmony.
