SRHS Choir's Trip to Carnegie Hall

“To lose your house and everything you own is a terrible thing, but it gave me an opportunity to realize that experiences and memories are much more impactful than material objects. Music is an intangible thing that has been a savior for me through all of this heartbreak, and coming to school every day to sing in our choir has brought me happiness in this painful time. Santa Rosa High School's Concert Choir has been accepted into an honor choir at Carnegie Hall in New York City.  However, the fires that burned through Santa Rosa in October of 2017 have left some students and teachers at SRHS homeless.  And still WE RISE!  Because our community has sustained such devastating economic hardship, we are reaching out here to a wider fundraising community to help these students achieve this dream.   

This is a rare and incredible opportunity for us, and we want to make it possible for all of our students to share this experience.  Our deadline is April 1, and all 70 of the kids in our choir are hoping to participate; we want to make this happen for everyone! If you could help us reach our dream in any way, you would be helping students achieve the opportunity of a lifetime!
