Srey Chea, a beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully at the age of 72, surrounded by her loving family on September 15, 2023. Her journey was one of immense strength and resilience, a testament to the indomitable human spirit.

Born in Cambodia on July 10, 1951, Srey Chea endured and triumphed over unimaginable hardships. She survived the horrors of the Khmer Rouge regime, emerging as a symbol of courage and determination. With unwavering resolve, she built a new life, fleeing to a land of hope and opportunity.

Over 25 years ago, she faced another challenge when her beloved husband, Than Mao, passed away. Undaunted, she became the pillar of her family, raising seven children practically on her own. Her dedication, sacrifices, and unconditional love left an indelible mark on each of her four sons and three daughters, instilling in them values that continue to guide their lives.

Srey Chea was not just a loving mother but also a cherished grandmother to seven grandchildren and a doting great-grandmother to three great-grandchildren. Her home was always filled with warmth and laughter, creating precious memories that will be treasured for generations to come.

Tragically, Srey Chea lost her courageous battle against cancer. Yet, even in her final moments, her spirit remained unbroken, and her family remained by her side, offering comfort and love.
