Help Save Sreevidya’s Life: A Mother’s Plea

I come to you seeking your compassion, support, and generosity for a woman who needs us now more than ever.

Sreevidya is a 37-year-old woman living in India whose life has taken a terrible turn. Both of Sreevidya’s kidneys are failing, leaving her in a desperate battle for survival. Her husband abandoned her after the diagnosis of her kidney problems & she has an 11 year old daughter to care for who is counting on her survival.

Currently, Sreevidya undergoes painful dialysis with a fistula in her stomach, as it is the last viable option due to multiple blockages elsewhere. The situation is dire, with her stomach area infected and leaking pus and discharge. The doctors have given a grim verdict - an urgent kidney transplant is the only lifeline she has left.

This is where we, as a community, can make a world of difference. The cost of the transplant procedure, including the donor's expenses, surgery, and essential tests, stands at approximately $40,000. It's a daunting sum for Sreevidya and her family, who are extremely financially strained.

Her mother, Vimala Narayan, who I have created this gofundme on behalf of, is a cancer patient herself and a single mom, begging for any donations for her daughter. She implores us to help save her daughter's life.
