Chris Glass is the father of three teenage boys and a husband of 18 years. On June 15, 2015 Chris was in a severe car accident that has left him a quadriplegic. Over several weeks Chris underwent two major spinal cord surgeries, a transfer to Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, and then a brief stay in a local rehab facility where he was deemed unable to recover. His wife and children have brought him home to minimal assistance from outside sources. Chris's wife, Andrea, has been providing the personal care herself and trying to work a part time job. Her income is not enough to sustain the bills. Unfortunately the family is in need of financial assistance to help support daily living costs and help to pay for medical expenses that have exceeded any and all savings. Currently, Chris is in need of home care devices to help him gain strength in his arms and legs, and to be able to substain daily living. These devices include a standing frame, reclining shower chair, voice activation system, home alert system, and a handicap assistance vehicle for transportation. During the past several months, family and close friends have donated time, money, and physical labor to renovate the family home in order for Chris to leave the hospital. But expenses have exceeded this support and his wife is unable to provide for these devices and bills on little to no income.
