This link is still live for anyone that still wants to donate. I successfully completed the challenge despite spend 12 of the days in hospital with a blocked bowel and having surgery to have a colostomy bag fitted.
Since being diagnosed with bowel cancer in May this year, I’ve been told by my surgical team that I need to get fit enough for a major operation. To help achieve this, I’ve set myself the challenge of walking 160 miles throughout November.
The Wessex Cancer Trust have been incredible in supporting both me and my family as we come to terms with the huge changes this diagnosis has brought to our lives. I’m raising money to give something back to this amazing charity and to help them continue supporting others going through similar experiences.
Any donation, big or small, will make a real difference and is hugely appreciated.
Thank you so much for your support — it truly means the world to me and my family.
