On the 4th of July, Michael was admitted to the hospital with severe complications. Despite multiple procedures and a period of hope when he began to improve, his heart and lungs became too weak. Pneumonia set in, and after a courageous fight, Michael passed away peacefully this morning.

Michael leaves behind his loving partner of 20 years, Tammy, his two sons Mikey and Cody, stepdaughter Destiny, stepson Damon, his cherished granddaughter Riley and nephew Cameron. He was a devoted grandfather, a big part of Riley’s life since the day she was born, and a constant source of love and guidance for his family.

A lifelong animal lover and a man with a generous heart, Michael always put others before himself. He was a listener, a supporter, and someone who was there when you needed him most. For six years, he bravely battled heart failure, never letting it dampen his spirit or his love for those around him.
