My dear friend, daughter, wife, and mom — Amanda Salerno, only 35 years old — has been fighting a battle most of us can’t imagine. After a decade of doctors, endless tests, and heartbreak, Amanda was finally diagnosed with a rare and debilitating condition called MALS (Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome), a condition that only affects 1 in 50 000 people. This condition has caused years of pain, exhaustion, and loss. She’s been unable to work for five years and struggles with even simple daily tasks that most of us take for granted.

Through it all, Amanda has stayed strong — not for herself, but for her two beautiful, energetic daughters who need their mom. They deserve to have her healthy, happy, and present in their lives again. And Amanda deserves the chance to live free from pain.
