My name is Daniel and on Friday 10th April, I’ll be taking on the HYROX race to raise funds for Squishy Face Rescue and Rehome, in honour of our beloved Frenchie, Bentley, who tragically passed away just before Christmas.

Squishy Face Rescue and Rehome is dedicated to giving “squishy-faced” dogs—like French Bulldogs, Pugs, and Bulldogs—a second chance at life. They work tirelessly to rescue and rehome dogs in need, carefully placing them into environments that suit their individual needs. They save countless dogs’ lives and are completely not-for-profit, relying on fundraisers like this to continue their incredible work.

The challenge I’ll be taking on is the HYROX Pro Division—a global fitness race that combines 8km of running with 8 functional workout stations,

It’s a tough physical and mental challenge, but one that feels incredibly meaningful to take on for a cause so close to my heart.
