I swore I would never do a GoFundMe, because no matter how tight or rough things got, we've always found a way to rob Peter to pay Paul, so to speak. But right now, with everything that has gone on in just the past few weeks, we could use some help.

On November 17th we lost my Mom to complications of Covid. During the last few days of her hospitalization we were in Marquette and the expenses therein took a large chunk of our meager savings. After her passing, we found out that paperwork we thought that had been signed and filed was not, and the estate has to go through probate, which with all its filing fees and costs, has been a financial drain.

Due to her passing, I missed week of work on bereavement leave to deal with funeral homes/estate business, ans then this past week my car decided to break down. And now the icing on the cake, both my husband JP and myself have tested positive for Covid ourselves and will miss another week+ of work while we recover.

I am starting this fundraiser in hopes that we could raise enough money to offset all our lost wages so we can pay our bills on time, and possibly pay for the repairs on my car (or put a down payment on a different vehicle).
