Hi, my name is Charlotte and I’m fundraising for one of my staff members: Miguel Aguilar. Late in the evening of Christmas Day, Miguel’s apartment complex tragically caught on fire. Miguel luckily made it out with his cell phone and the clothes on his back - however everything else is gone.

Although we’re grateful that Miguel survived and is okay, he has lost everything - clothes, belongings, even is loving cats could not survive the fire.

Miguel is a staff member at the Jacob Burns Film Center. He spends his days giving exceptional service to customers and making people feel safe. We want to give back to Miguel and help him rebuild his home.

Please donate whatever you can so Miguel can start his life again. Although we recognize this will not fix the pain and trauma of this fire and what he’s lost, we hope these donations can help him feel supported and safe.
