Memorial to Rafael Gomez

It is with an extremely broken heart that the HSI Nogales family shares the loss of Special Agent Rafael “Ralph” Gomez. Ralph joined the Nogales team in November 2019 and completed the academy in May 2021. Prior to joining HSI, he was a CBPO in Nogales and then Phoenix, including some time supporting cases with Casa Grande.

We remember Ralph as the hard-working, happy-go-lucky joker that he was. His goofy smile and jokes always lightened up our day. We will always remember him as an amazing work brother, agent, father, and friend.

Ralph left behind his son and daughter, as well as a sister and his parents. In this very sad time, we would like to help the family with funeral expenses, and any leftover funds will go to his children.
