Funeral support
Hello,
I am Steven Passer, the brother-in-law of Martin Rodriguez. Martin died suddenly on August 5 at 3:20pm from complications of COVID19. He was another victim of this dreaded pandemic. He should not be forgotten and his family needs your assistance. Martin was baptized catholic but in our conversations he was more of a spiritualist and believer in god, then the followings of catholicsm itself. He was in the process of raising 5 incredible children, though 2 are still under 10. They are Maria, 21; Frankie 18; Jay 12; Biddie 9 and Isabella 3. They were a very close family and we are concerned for all of them. Martin ran his own business in construction and landscaping but covid had a massive impact on him and his livelihood as he was unable to maintain his client base or his crews and had been struggling the last 18months. He did not have life insurance, a subject I actually debated with him about back as COVID began. I am concerned that Martin can be given a proper send-off for those he left behind. He did not believe in cremation and wanted a proper burial and service he could be proud of. He was a kind, caring man. He was the type of person who would give anything to help others and often did so during Harvey or other Houston area tragedies he volunteered in his community and worked to be a role model for many. Now the family needs help and we are asking that you provide whatever you can in order to send Martin to be back with his mother and other loved ones he lost along the way. We ask that you pray for the family and that you help financially anyway you possibly can. Every donation is appreciated and very much needed. May peace and safety be with you all.
