For the past 5 years I have been working full time to build an alternative birth center in Kentucky. Prior to that I had worked toward that goal while being otherwise employed.
Kentucky has NO Alternative Birth Centers!!!
Kentucky women need options!!!
I have been without a salary for 5 years, and have spent my saved IRA's and retirement funds to work toward this goal. This was spent on the lawyer, certificate of need, architect, expert witnesses and their travel, etc. It has been a fight that is meaningless and unjust.
