After a very long battle with serious Lyme disease, with which I was not able to work; I finally started to feel back to my old self, only to be diagnosed with breast cancer a year later. It is an expensive disease, even with about 80% of your costs covered by insurance. And there are all these unexpected costs everywhere. Add in inflation and we are struggling to pay our bills and the cost of treatments.
