Help Pay Prinnys Vet Bill
Donation protected
Prinny is an approximately 5 or 6 year old Great Pyrenees that runs the open fields of Greene Acre Farms in Strasburg, VA. A little over a year ago I met Frank & Laura Wright when I went to pick up my male Great Pyrenees for our farm. They have an amazing family and alot of happy Pyrenees! The Wrights neighbors are always setting bear & coyote traps and showing them off to people. Well on Wednesday April 22, 2015 @ 6:30 AM Frank came out of his house to see his 11 year old daughters Great Pyrenees dragging her front leg from his pasture field. He went to her to find what appeared to be a broken leg with bad puncture wounds from a trap containing teeth and her eye was severely damaged. Frank says it appears that when the guy (Chris) went to check his traps and Prinny was in it he had either punched her in her face or hit her with the gun. They were able to track Prinnys blood trails yesterday from the neighbors (Marsha & Chris) house. This was confirmed by a member of their community that serves as a Board of Supervisors of Shenandoah County. There was a small investigation done on a small scale and because there was a voluntary showing of other style traps no other investigation was done. Prinny may never use her leg again and she will be permanently losing her eye from the serious damages. As well as 3 years ago the Wrights had a male Pyrenees come up missing and the body was never found. The same neighbor (Chris) was witnessed saying he shot him. Animal control and the sheriffs have been contacted and done all they believe they can do. So I am reaching out an extra mile to help the Wrights and asking for any and all donations possible to help them pay for Prinnys vet bills. They will need her leg fixed & her eye completely removed. We have set a high goal to make sure we can go above & beyond to properly get Prinny back to being "Prinny." $1 will make a difference! God Bless!
