Funds for Charlie

Hello UCSF colleagues, friends, and supporters,

Please help us support dedicated patient advocate, inspiring leader, colleague and friend, Charlie Aoun, as she begins breast cancer treatment today at our very own UCSF.

For over 4 years, Charlie has helped UCSF's cancer patients enroll onto clinical trials here at UCSF as part of Heme's research group. Currently, as the Clinical Research Manager, she supports health care professionals participate in clinical research and coaches/mentors fellow colleagues in their careers. In pursuing her own dreams, Charlie was recently accepted into multiple prestigious nurse practitioner programs, including Yale, Emory, and her top choice, Columbia. Unfortunately, these plans were put on hold when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in December. 


In an effort to help support Charlie through this difficult time, all contributions will go toward supporting her costs through this journey!
