Sponsorship

Hi my name is Glenn, I coach the Ambleside Girls U13 football team. As we prepare for the coming season, we look to sponsorship for the grassroots club, however this year I have a different idea. After recently spending time volunteering at little havens children's hospice, I was humbled by this incredible charity and the work they do. I would like to advocate this charity through my football team, I would like to spread the word, recommend others to volunteer, fundraise ECT and just make more families aware of what they do and what they offer. We as a club will also be looking to raise money for this charity throughout the season. Whilst I want to have little havens as my sponsor, I certainly will not be asking them for anything (as usually we look for sponsorship to help fund our team costs), therefore myself and two other coaches will be looking for sponsorship to have our legs waxed by the girls in the team (which they will very much enjoy causing us pain) my aim is to raise enough funds to support my football club i.e pitch fees, kit fees, ref fees and many more, but I'd also like to kick start my fundraising with providing little havens with an initial deposit of sponsorship. Basically this will cover the sponsorship cost and allow us to promote and raise funds for little havens children's hospice. Anything you can spare is hugely appreciated. Our football club is as much about family as it is football, which is why we as a club would love to be able to do all we can for this great charity.
