Bring Chris Home

UPDATE: As we have now had confirmation that we can bring Chris home, we have revised a total cost to bring him home and provide a full funeral. Thank you all so much for all of your donations kind words and messages, we're getting close to our target and we can't thank you wonderful people enough.



We have absolutely demolished the initial goal of £1000. Thank you all so much! We are aiming for £5000 now and we will continue to increase our goal with every goal met, until we get confirmation of the cost for Chris to return home.

As some of you may know Chris Dodd, passed away recently on holiday in Malta. This is a fundraiser to raise as much money as possible to help bring Chris home to his family and help pay for his funeral costs.

The target is set for £1000 but we want to raise as much as physically possible as we have been made aware it could cost up to and possible more than £10,000 for Chris to be returned home to his family.

Chris was 27, and was a warm hearted person who loved life and seized every opportunity to smile and have fun. His family are not well off and the significant cost of bringing Chris home and paying for a full funeral could be too large for it to even be a possibility for them.

Chris was a friend to so many, so whether you donate £1, or £100 we want to raise as much as possible so that his family doesn't have to shoulder the burden of worrying how much it costs to have their son return home one final time.
