~A Helping Hand for Ricky & Angie Barreno~
As you know, my parents suffered a great loss when they received a call on Father's Day, their house was on fire!! By God's grace, Isaiah was able to make it out of the house as my parents were not home at the time. What was to be a joyous day of celebration turned into a tragic situation. Upon inspection from the insurance company, their home was declared a total loss. Everything internally gone in a matter of minutes. The outside structure is in good condition, thankfully! It is so heartbreaking yet they remain strong together and in faith. They will have to begin from scratch and rebuild, along with supplying the entire contents and all that comes with building a home. It will take some time for them to rebuild and insurance will not cover all costs. They will need to come up with an estimated 45,000+ to assist them with the rebuilding process. They will incur many expenses as everything gets situated and so forth.
My brothers and I have set up a PayPal and GoFundMe account for our parents to try and help ease this burden off their shoulders. One never expects to go through something like this. Donations provided would help them with necessities, begin the rebuilding process and any other costs as needed. Ricky and Angie's words of advice-"have a security/alarm system (Vivint), make sure you have full replacement cost insurance on your homes, with recoverable depreciation on your policy, set an escape plan with your children should you ever be in a similar situation and do not block your windows with furniture or other heavy objects."
Any donation amount you would be able to contribute is greatly appreciated to assist them during this difficult, trying time. Continued prayers are greatly appreciated as well! Thanks in Advance. God Bless You All!
